Sophie Lassman

Sophie was born in Hertfordshire in 1990 and worked as a Makeup Artist for 10 years doing the makeup for celebrities and tv but her main passion was always Art. She would paint as a hobby, but it was only when the pandemic hit, and she could no longer work as a makeup artist that she decided this was the right time to continue her art full time as a career. Thanks to social media and high-profile clients Sophie’s art career immediately took off and she hasn’t looked back since.
Sophie’s passion for painting and art is a family trait coming from her grandfather who was also an artist and studied at Central Saint Martins. This creative gene has followed through into Sophie.

Sophie started off painting famous Disney and Marvel characters, getting her inspiration from her children and the characters that they love, also from the characters that Sophie loved as a child growing up as a huge Disney fan herself.
She then went on to paint some of her favourite icons and celebrities incorporating her love for fashion and colours.

She loves working with bright colours and metallics, using mainly acrylic and spray paints and experimenting with different mediums to create an abstract, modern unique style.
