Khroyma
Khroyma is a London based artist primarily working in acrylics, metal leaf and spray-paint.
Mainly self-taught fuelled by a natural need to create, utilizing skills garnered from working in the Film Industry for two decades Khroyma has set about to produce large scale contemporary wall art.
Working from life, photos and imagination each unique painting starts with energetic paint throws and swipes combining vibrant colour and textures to form an abstract expressionist composition.
By contrast, a more representational yet interpretive overpainting of the human face/eyes are layered over the gestural base almost exclusively using spray paint.
The aim is to create striking, colourful large format pieces that balance contemporary abstract with realism.
The title of each piece refers to the time of day they were finished, each piece is an original and hand signed.
